As for the turbine noise being the turbo spooling up, no, this noise isn't, most definately clutch I think, turbo indeed sounds better.
To answer another question, the car has 50000kms on it or about 31000miles.
I don't know if any of you have ever driven the car to the redline to the point where the limiter kicks in, well that's how it feels at going through 4000 rpm, if you keep foot on throttle at that time the engine warning light comes on and the car keeps hanging up around 4, 4500 rpm without accelerating any more. going of the pedal and then full on will make the car raech it's usual redline, but you can feel some hesitations within the last 2000 rpm. The problem does not occur at all at low rpm and only happens the first few times. It does seem that some power is lost permenantly. I was thinking maybe fuelproblem...have no real clues.
car is going in for checkup and will be put up for sale after.
