Do you know if the tire monitors can be installed on a 2000 viggen - how do they operate. I appreciate SAAB's responsiveness to this issue.
I would like a few of you to come visit me in Detroit. I drive from the burbs to downtown and back each day. Our interbelts resembles a bombed-out highway of some war torn country. Believe me I give it my best shot to avoid as many as these road hazards as possibles but you are moving 70miles/hour,bumper to bumper traffic and then throw in a few semi's here and there to block your view of the highway and the next thing you know "BAM" there goes another rim & wheel - a days pay to buy a new set. It is discouraging to say the least.
I love the way my viggen turns heads, it handles unbelievably well and is comfortable for long trips compared to other sports cars I have owned. I just find the wheel/rim problem a pain in the ass & wallet.
I would have appreciated a heads-up from the sales force on what one might expect when purchasing this car. Who knows maybe I would have gone ahead and purchased but at least I would have known people are being straight with me.
