I have installed both the SAS and Abbott bars on my Viggen. I am running the SAS as the preferred bar. From an engineering perspective the Abbott is twice as stiff as the stock and the SAS is twice as stiff as the Abbott. For the non Viggen, the SAS is the better way to go. Both will make one wheel bumps slightly more noticable. Nothing too severe. The Abbott is slightly easier to install as it is copy of the stock, where as the SAS is not and thus requires a bit more care around the brake lines. Either can be installed on the standard or Viggen without jacking, but raising the care makes it a great deal easier.
As to the Viggen in particular, wit the SAS you can induce oversteer which is critical to autocross. If you are not comfortable with oversteer, you may prefer the Abbott. The ability to induce oversteer is critical to the fastest line, but is unnerving to downright scary if you are not used to it and it happens for the first time on the street.
Both bars will vastly improve the handling of the Viggen or 9-3.
