Broken Spoiler Clip.

I just put winters on my car and had the aluminum wheels/tires in my trunk. As I tried to close the trunk, it wouldn't close all the way as the tire was near the edge of the trunk, but the lock was engaged (not fully though). I gave the trunk a little bit of a push down to try and fully engage the lock - and I hear this loud crack! From underneath the spoiler on the far right side, out falls 2 little pieces of black plastic. These pieces were obviously 1 piece previously. Fitting the 2 together, it looks like a clip which is used to fasten the spoiler to the car. Has anyone out had this happen to them before, and if so, how much did it cost to fix? I don't think that it will be a big deal to repair, but it's funny how expensive little pieces of plastic are when they are from a car.
I am actually pretty surprised as to how weak/brittle the fastener is. It's not like I jumped on the trunk. It is pretty cold out today (-8 C) so that may something to do with it.
Thanks in advance!
JPS.
