Redline 75W90NS tranny oil review

My 1999 has 82K km on it, so I decided to change my tranny oil. (I did not like Saab's suggestion that it was not necessary). I have had good results with Redline products in other cars, so I sent them an email asking which grade of tranny oil I should use. They suggested I try the 75W90NS and even sent me 2 quarts to try in return for some feedback and a sample of the old oil.
I am GLAD I changed the oil. It was pretty dirty. I've never seen oil this dirty come out of a gearbox. After replacing it I was VERY pleased with the results. THe shift quality is much improved. Where the tranny did not like to be "rushed" when shifting before, quick shifts are now completely smooth. Also, synchro whine when downshifting into first is completely eliminated. If you have a Saab with more then 80K km and a manual tranny, I would change the tranny oil ASAP. Also, while I have not had the Redline product in the tranny for long, I would highly recommend this product for improved shift quality. Based on my past experience I have every confidence that the Redline oil will have a positive effect on durability as well. In fact, I wish I did this when the car was new, the shifting would have been sooooo much better for those 82K km.....
