what's your commute like? if heavy traffic, forget the manual - PITA..

also, what's your experience driving other manual transmission cars...i've driven BMW, VW, Honda, and Toyota manuals. My 1999 9-3 5 speed is by far the worst shitfing of the bunch...maybe the VW and Saab are fairly close, but I find the saab somewhat worse. It is a long throwing, notchy shifting car compared to others.

i would do a search on the bulletin board so you can see other opinions.
