...go of the key. No warning whatsoever! Turn the key and the engine starts right up, but as soon as you let go of the key it springs from the "starting" position to "off". Had to have it towed and it ended up at Midas of all places (DON'T ASK!). It took them 2 HOURS to figure it out! Of course now I have to wait til Monday when the dealer opens so that Midas can go buy the marked up ignition switch and then mark it up even more for me. THEN I'll probably have to pay them for 6 hours of labor b/c my car's not a Chrysler minivan and they can't figure out how put the new part in. Does anyone know of an alternative? Can this part be repaired or does it have to get ripped out and replaced? The car will run fine if you HOLD it the "RUN" position. Is this safe enough to do to drive it to my regular Saab mechanic/dealer?
