I will follow all of your suggestions and see what I come up with. I thought the pulsing was transmission at first, because I noticed it most under slight engine braking (coming off the gas). The thumping seemed to shake the whole drivetrain, but only for the speeds I mentioned. I have 15 inch steel wheels mounted, which may hold a lot of snow....

Step 1: Check lug nuts
Step 2: Hose wheels off
Step 3: Sign over life insurance and organ profits to Doug P
Step 4: Complete assignment of "I will not do donuts at work"
Step 5: Clean the drum-thumping midget out of my wheel well
Step 6: Stop drinking the washer fluid (though it tastes better than "Pepsi Blue")

Anything else?
