At one point in time I apparently unsuccessfully tried to communicate the need to read the sidewalls of one's tires and know what their inflation limits are defined as (33 vs 44PSI max).

Two folks responded questioning this, which is perfectly fine but one noted following my advice could kill someone.
Mmmmkay, sorry for any confusion there folks. But there is a huge operational difference in a tire rated for 33 vs 44 PSI max. Read the tire, know what it's limits are. I run mine at 36 on the front and 33 on the rear (44 max rating) and the car handles like a dream.
So, there in lies the notion of my disclaimer. I certainly wouldn't want anybody to receive the penalty of death from my errors in describing any situation or operation.
<Sarcasm on>
I'm contemplating giving up my tuning efforts now too, after all messing with the engine can be dangerous and we all know speed kills.
<Sarcasm off>
Seriously though, that is the reason. I enjoy SAABNET and would hate to see anybody take anybody's postings to task should injury or damage occur. Scott's devotion to keeping this site alive isn't taken lightly by me and I don't want to instill any liability for him or the site (or me).
Glad the rear wiper worked out.
