I've had mine for almost 2 months now. Only electrical problem is a broken driver's side map light switch. Noted during inspection before I signed for it...still waiting for the replacement part.
Brakes squeal when it's cold outside. Might be road crud; i'll be taking it to the dealer and getting them to check it out. No driveability issue here; pedal response is normal.
Not sure if I should classify my other notes as "problems" yet...waiting to see if they happen regularly and for any apparent reason.
1) radio lost track of the station it was on during a brief stop at dunkin donuts this morning. SID indicated proper frequency, but all i got was static. Hitting the preset for that station brought it back in clearly.
2) SID doesn't stay in display mode across engine starts. If i'm viewing MPG during one trip, park the car, turn off, [insert random activity here], then start the car, the SID returns to outside temp. Odd note on this is that it doesn't seem to happen when the SID is in Date mode.
This being my first Saab, I don't know if this is normal or not. As for the car being a superb ride (especially in the twisties), that is normal and *that* is why I had to have it!
HTH-
Steve
