cause the steering wheel is so hot you can't touch it. This is no joke! First thing you do when you get in your car in a hot parking lot in Phoenix in the summer - crank the a/c and aim the vents at your steering wheel. They actually make insulated steering wheel covers, just like gramma used to use on the toaster!
I know my old 9000T used to really labor to cool down, but that was R-12 and on it's way to failure. Took my 97 900S to PHX last July. Had reflective window tinting (don't think that's legal in AZ) and the a/c worked flawless.
