How can that be? What's better than 0% for 36 months, 2.9% for 48 or 3.9% for 60 months? Previously the either/or amount of a Saab un-published and therefore non-taxable incentive to the dealer (which you won't hear about here first) was just about a wash. That is lowering the finance balance and paying normal rates was pretty close, particularly at the normal affordable term of 60 months. The roughly 1-2% difference in rate available in these super low rate times was overcome by the incentive.

But Saab just increased the incentive substantially for what they call "alternative" financing or paying cash or not using the promotional rates. Expires 1-31-03
