you have Traction control on your car?
What code is it?

I was thinking if it maybe have something to do with the throttle linkage on an TCS equipped car.
The throttle arm that goes into the throttle body have to be reset in a certain way if it have gone into limp home. But any Saab dealer should know about that by now, since it have been in use since 1998.

I know that on the 9-5 model, we have had to replace several TCS throttle bodies because of problem with that.
