I just realized i'm not looking in the right place

I just found out the thing in the dash isn't the radio at all, but rather just the controls and display for the radio. And (as I painstakingly found out from splicing into every wire) none of the wires are that +12v signal wire. I had to call 3 dealerships before getting this information.

The actual radio is tucked deep inside the dash.
