Darn, I hadn't realized the Saab auto-dimming mirror wouldn't work in a convertible! I've wanted one for the convenience but also to reduce the glare of overhead street lamps while driving with the top down at night.

The 50-GENK30 with Map Lights and Compass is interesting. Seems like a slick way to include a compass in the car, though it may be a bit gadgety, visually. I'm trying to picture it in the car. I'd love to see a picture if you could post one. From Google I see the 50-GENK30 for $200, Also a 50-genk1 auto-dimming mirror for only $83.

Yes, please post any install tips you have to share.
