Good thing after reading your previous post, I was going to go with the 205-55-16 tires on my convertible based on your recommendation. Luckily, the installer suggested that I stay with the OEM sized tire and not go with something else in size. He said that with the 55 sidewall, I would lose much on the performance side while only gaining a little more on comfort side. He suggested that I try the Falken Ziex 512 since many of his customers have had great experiences with the tire. With installation, I was able to have four new tires (205-50-16) for about $400.00. Definitely a better designed tire than the Michelin Pilot HX MXM that came with the car because of the rim protector. No more curb rash again! It is as quiet as when the Michelins were new with better steering response and turning response as well. Also, I have a 30-day return policy with my installer that if I don't like these tires for any reason, I can have a full credit towards the purchase of another set of tires from a different brand if I like. Now that's confidence in what you sell. Will keep everyone posted as the 30-day test comes to an end. Thanks for you responses and feedback with your tire purchase.
