i don't really get what the city lights are really needed for, my understanding is to be used if you are driving in an area with lots of street lights you could turn down to this setting but why bother? have seen postings of used in europe while parked at the side of road to let other drivers know which way you are parked. i would not think they would be real effective as drl's.with your setup do they turn off when you take the key out?
