Rotating Direction of Tires Posted by Andrew [Email] (#1013) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Andrew) on Tue, 25 Feb 2003 21:32:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Okay, so I have these Gislaved Speed 506's on my 1999 9-3S. I noticed today that the front-left, rear-left, and rear-right tires are all rotating in the same direction while the front-right tire is mounted so that it is rotating backwards when the car is moving forwards-you know what I mean. Why is this, first of all, and secondly, could I just have the dealer take that front-right tire and mount it correctly on the rim? In other words, mount the side with size, width, etc written on the sidewall mounted FACING the car? Or would that be bad or something? Okay, help me out a little here. They're brand new tires that the dealer put on as part of a CPO deal. Andrew.
