I had a 9-5 with the 17" BBS wheels with Pilots and 16" wheels with all seasons tires for the winter months. There was a night and day difference in the ride quality and handling between the two wheels.
The bumps and imperfections in the road were most notable with the 17" wheels, but they looked cool and handling improved. You will however become extremely fearful of potholes and curbs as the 17's don't have the extra rubber for protection.
