Annoying door rattle from stereo

I have observed a rather annoying vibration from the drivers' side door in connection with my stereo. It is associated with the low frequency content of the music (i.e. bass). It happens at just about any reasonable volume. At first I thought I'd blown the door speaker, but then I listened more closely, and the rattle seems to be coming from inside the door, as opposed to the speaker itself. If I lean my elbow on the armrest, or otherwise apply pressure to the door, the rattle goes away. This problem seems to have become more prevalent as time has gone on. It has now reached the point where I very much want it to go away.
Anyone ever experienced this, or have thoughts on how to fix it? No, I don't want to kill the bass (it's set in the middle, and I like it there). And no, I don't want my car to go "thump thump boom boom" as I drive down the street either. I just want to experience the full frequency content of my music as a reasonable, sometimes higher volume, without the cacophony of a rattling door.
Cheers,
'Roo
