Had my '01 9-3 SE in for the 30K mi. service earlier this week and was told that the OEM Pirelli P6000s need to be replaced very soon (before state safety inspection in June). Was wondering what the thoughts were on the board as far as good replacement?

(Note: Car is leased... 30K mi. left on lease)

Requirements : quiet highway performance, long tread life, decent wet/snow traction...
I was not impressed with the life span of the Pirellis. They wore evenly and performed well for their "short" time but they seemed to wear very quickly (faster than any tire I've owned).

Top 3 Choices (all VR/YR rated) :

1) Continental ContiExtreme Contact
2) Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (downside here is price @ $169/ea)
3) OEM Pirelli P6000s

Thoughts?
