I just got back from advanced auto parts. I had the battery tested, and according to the readings, it was as dead as a doornail (even though car started fine). I replaced it with a Optima Red Top
1. (good battery right?).
Yet, even after replacing the battery, it wasn't holding a load well (keeping both drivers side and passenger windows up, even though the windows are completely closed). So, the Auto Parts guys tested my alternator, and according to it's readings--it's running at .7 volts?!?!?!? When it should be running at 133 Volts!

2. Is that possible? for the car to even be running and starting relatively normal!?

First impression on the new battery installed--whether it's in my head or not, the idle problem has seemed to diminished, But I only drove the car for maybe 2 miles--I'm going to take it out tonight and see how it does...
