Low Voltage Trigger (LVT) for aftermarket amp

Spent the day installing a new amp into my 9-3, but when I turned on the stereo the first time the amp did not turn on. Boo! My guess is that the Low Voltage Trigger (LVT) from Peripheral Electronics is not powering up the amp. The LVT has a small LCD light which I suppose lights up when it is activated. Have not see the light trigger as of yet. I checked the wiring to the amp and can confirm that 12V from the battery is being supplied.
Here is how I have wired up the LVT. If anyone sees a problem with the way I have it wired, let me know!
Constant 12V signal = ACC wire from Head Unit. Using Richard Bevan’s diagram, this would be pin H.
Ground signal = Pin G on Head Unit.
LVT Input = signal from 8 pin DIN
LVT Output = to amp
I have also confirmed that the pin H to pin G does supply a 12V signal.
