Kevin,
I had a piece tire retread hit my rf fog lamp 99 9-3ment conv. knocking it out of the brackets and severely breaking the plastic. With 5 min epoxy I glued it together. I had a plastic fragment of about 2 inches missing which I remodeled from hardwood then encased in epoxy.
Measurements have to be pretty tight and it takes some time (I'm retired)
Go over any glue joints 2 or 3 times to reinforce them.
It worked well for about a year until a piece of metal debris hit it on Rt 95 going about 70+ leaving only bits and pieces.
check:parts@saabcenter.com for reasonable replacement about 140.
This brings me to the question of foglamp placement. I believe the location is much more hazzardous than if Saab had placed the fog lamps centrally. Things get thrown on the hi-speed hyways by other cars into the low lateral front area of the car frequently (my independent study).
