It isn't easy. There is a thread with 554 replies on another board talking about this very issue. The problem is the 93ss uses a fiber optic network called MostNet to communicate with the stereo system and the amp/amps. You can't replace them with after market equipment very easily. If you remove the head unit, your car won't start. You can't replace the amps, because there are no aftermarket amps that work with MostNet yet. There is a software update, but if you really like your music, that won't help. The speakers suck more wind than a jet's engines. They really, really suck. You can purchase an upgrade from your Saab dealer, but the upgrade still uses those horrible speakers. To top it off the radio's presets are seriously buggy. When I start my car in the morning I have to be careful not to switch to another preset station using the keypad on the dash, if I do 50% percent of the time the preset button I just pushed will reprogram itself to the radio station I was trying to switch away from. There is no beep indicating that the preset was changed either. Other than the stereo, it's a great car. Good luck
