2001 9-3SE Chiming when I remove key.

Twice now when I have reached my destination and I put the car in reverse to remove the key the car will chime as if I have maybe left something on and when I get out of the car and try to lock it with the remote, it won't let me. Any suggestions. The light switch is in the daytime running light position and all doors are shut. Please help.
