Maybe I don't read the board often enough, but my '99 Viggen has over 70k totally trouble free miles. Except for a couple bent rims and a spoiler that cracked as I drove over a big ice chunk that fell off the truck ahead of me, it has been marvelous.
I think the rustproofing qualities are inferioir to my last Volvo 850, but that's aboout my only gripe.
I will admit, however, that I am not out there racing or autocrossing with it. It is my daily driver, winter and summer, and I drive it sanely (mostly) If you dig enough, you'll talk yourself out of buying most any performance car today. Even the hallowed Audi's and BMW's have plenty of issues that could scare you off. Buy it and enjoy it, if it turns you on.
