Dean,

I have had other cars with open wheels and only suffered 2 times where I didn't have brakes when I hit the brake pedal. This car does it everytime they get very wet. When I was on the highway during one of those downpours I would have had to drag my brakes for hours (290 mile trip, rained for 2 hours or over 100 miles) just to be able to brake when I needed them (No I am not exagerating, I almost ran into several trucks and cars because of the way everyone was driving at 70mph). If this is standard for this car (2002 9-3 SE) is there another brake setup (ie new pads or rotors) that would work better than the stock pads and rotors? I realize you are pushing EBC green pads, why? What about Ferodo or any others? Could my pads be glazed and how would I know? What things should I look for to make sure my brakes are working properly? PS the web site you are pushing doesn't list a 2002 9-3 only has up to a 2001 do these cars use the same brake pads? Is there a set of wheels I could buy that would close off some of the water getting in (To leesen this problem)and still look good (I believe I have the 6.5" X 16's on this car with p205/55 zr16's Pirelli P6000's)? I am up for options just don't want to spend a fortune.
Please reply.
Thanks
Tom C
