I'm not sure if this Yahoo pics thing works or not, but I finally got my mitts on a digital camera. I had this Pioneer head unit installed about five mos ago - xm, mp3 - run through a midlevel Alpine amp to Infiniti Reference seperates and 6x9s.

The head lets you set the break points and curve characterstics for each speaker - the result is a remarkably full sound even without a sub.

What I'm intending to show is how the regular unit looks the Saab 1.75DIN slot. I had my g/f make the black pleather pad - it blends much better in real life than in the pic - the flash makes it seem oily or garish. The pad is the key to making the rather busy head unit look alright in the understated Saab dash. By mimicking the elements of the dash (textured vinyl) and the unit (shiny as my Viggen pin), the pad just works.

Next: a matte yellow tinted film for the display to make the readout green i/o domestic car aqua. Anyone have any ideas?
