I had a virtually brand new and fully-loaded 2003 9-5 Linear (1000 miles on odometor) as a loaner for a day, and quite frankly I couldn't wait to get my 9-3 back. The 9-5 was champaign color and tan interior. My wife and I agreeed that the 9-5's interior felt really dated. The power is a little bit better than my 9-3 but my 9-3 handled much better than the 9-5. I'll admit that it was a very comfortable car but it didn't feel sporty at all. Overall my wife and I agreed that it felt and looked no different than Toyota Avalon that my neighbour has. It probably was a really nice car 4-5 years ago but now it really need change.

The dealer left window sticker in the glove box and the sticker price was around $38K. Honestly, even with $10K discount I still wouldn't buy it. I never drove the 9-5 Arc or Aero so I have no opinions on them but I was really disappointed with the current 9-5 Linear.
