due to the T-7, drive by wire set up, whereby the computer exagerates the throttle position to achieve a quicker spool up, and if I'm not mistaken, the linear has a smaller turbo than the aero and spools up very quickly, but as you say, sort of fizzles out as rpms go up. In AT the firs gear is very long and boost doesn't drop when it shifts, so I'm not surprised max boost was achieved early with partial throttle.
