Hi Dean,
thanks for your comments. You are probably right, I might not be fast enough from the pedal. I will doublecheck this today (chilly and wet weather).
I bought the Dawes MBC and installed it before the BPC. You need some 5 inch additional hose. The thinner hose that comes with the MBC fits perfect on the BPC. As the diameter of the original hose is a bit to wide for the MBC I cut off an inch of the small one, slipped it on the nipple of the MBC and then into the hose coming from the turbo. Fixed everything with cable binder. The bleed orifice is blocked with some 2c epoxy clue.
Continue testing...
