sorry, it is a CPO '99 9-3 Convertible. But I do have somewhat good news. After spending 4 hours at the dealership, my wife told everyone our story and finally she was able to get all of the managers attention. She kept insisted at the time of the strut failure the car was under new car warranty. What we found out was the this SAAB dealer didn't know anything about CPO and in fact they were saying that we had NO warranty before or after the new car warrranty expired last month. She had the garage manager look up our car in SAAB's computer and to their surprise we have a CPO warranty until 2005 and that at the time of the strut repair it was indeed under new car warranty. Thank you for telling us to get the original work order b/c she did and all 3 managers read the notes and there was nothing about an outside source. They ended credited our credit card the full $800. Of course, when we left they still didn't know how to put in the warranty info for a CPO nor do they know what is covered. So, next time we will have to fight again and bring in SAAB USA again. Thanks for all the good advice- ckp
