I suspect you are correct TG, on the 9-5 you have the choice of 16 inch or 17 inch and they only fit the tires that were originally delivered on those size wheels. On the 9-3 the choices should be 15, 16 or 17 inch wheels. The 17 will be even worse than the 16, maybe the 15 inch setting will be better but I know not what size tires came on 15 inch wheels.
