I recently put the ContiExtreme Contact 205/55/16V on my '99 9-3. Great replacement for my Michelin Pilot stock tires - very quiet and great in the Seattle rain (not that we have had much this summer). TireRack.com has them for $70. I do get a slight fender rub on one side when wheel completely turned. I suspect this will go away with some tread wear (or if I keep driving around the parking lot in circles to hear the rubbing :-)). So far, no other performance hit in going from a 50 to a 55.
