Anyway about '99 9-3's:
1. DI Cassette failure common.
2. Head Gaskets have had there share of problems, If caught early enough, a retorque of the head bolts could solve.
3. SID and ACC pixel failure has been noted a bunch
You might also want to ask the same question on the ng900 board for people with later models of the 900 maybe the years of 1997 and 1998 as the cars didn't change much in '99 from previous years. Year 2000 started a different engine management system.
