Im so sick of this. MY SID is totally blank now, and warning signs are coming up on the dash, I don't know whether its a signal to check washer fluid or that my engine is about to explode. Dealership is quoting me around
$500+ to get it replaced but they reccomended calling SAAB goodwill. So I called them and they are looking into it, but they said that there is almost no chance that they will foot the bill. Wish me luck im off to see if I can get it approved. I think it is about time for a recall on the SID, i know people have said this a million times, but is there anyway us as Saab owners can petition for a recall on this thing. It seems to me that there are thousands of us with the same problem, it's just a matter of doing something about it.
