Koni's on a Viggen

I am looking at swapping Koni's for the OEM shocks on my y2K viggen. Koni's product guide states "except viggen" & after talking to koni today they stated they have not done testing on a viggen to know if they would work.
My question is, has anyone used normal koni's for their viggen? A few vendors had I beleived revalved koni's however I don't see why normal koni's wouldn't work. These cars are lowered from stock however not as low as a Eibach equipped car.
