Driver side rear wheel noise

After parking, setting emergency brake, shutting down, and getting out of the car (99 Viggen), I notice a distinct (and loud) metal on metal noise. I'm not sure if this is tied to the emergency brake or not. I'm not parking on a slope, and my fat a** isn't so large to make the spring wheeze in relief as much as it seems to. Any thoughts? Semper Fi, MikeD
