I am going to keep an eye on the 9-2X. My 99 Viggen still has 1.5 years of warranty so I will keep it at least that long (unless for some reason I need 4 doors). I am real curious to see a picture of the 9-2X -- I am not crazy about a hood scoop. That car looks so "typical" of the Fast & Furious crowd -- its going to be hard to shake that image/look. I have some faith Saab can do it, but we shall see.

I will admit that the stats, AWD, and upgardability are very attractive -- I do worry that this car will have a tough time against the Audi A4 1.8T quattro which has basically the same characteristics without the fast and furious baggage.

I am thinking the 9-3 Sport hatch might be as good of an option...if only it had AWD it would be the clear winner.
