There may have been a post like this, but do not remember.

I may have the rare, and unfortunate, opportunity to decide to buy a 9-3 SS again.

You may have seen a short post several weeks ago by me about a vibration in my 2003 9-3 SS between 1500 and 2500 RPM (It is a 5 speed Linear)that it had from day one.

The dealer has agreed that there is something wrong.

At first the dealer thought that it was a bad CV joint. They replaced it and the axle. Did not fix. They then replaced the other side. Still the same. Now they have replaced the clutch flywheel, Still the same, if not a little worse.

It has now been in the shop for two weeks and the dealer has no idea what the problem is. The service manager did say that he thought that he had heard of a similar problem with a car in Florida.

The Saab rep will be in this week and though I do not know what the plan is, both the sales rep and the maintenance dept. are hinting at a new car or a buy out.

So, if it is a buy out, I am not sure what to do. Lump Saab altogether, or take a chance on another Saab. BTY, there is a BMW 3 series at a different dealer that is starting to call my name.

So what do you all think? Would you buy your 2003 9-3SS again if given the chance?
