We actually run EBC pads on the front of all of Personal and Shop cars. (We mostly use stock rears) We all like them. I have a set on my modified 2001 Viggen that gets driven hard Shop loaner cars (we all know about Loaners) all the way down to Moms easy driven 9-5. If you have any questions give us a call. We all drive Saabs and have experience with these parts on our daily drivers.
These pads (like most pads) need to be bedded in easy! Brake gently for the first 150 – 300 miles (less in the city more on highway miles.) We have had problems with aggressive running in procedures that resulted in glazing.
The short version: We have had no problems with Factory Saab Rotors, EBC pads and easy break in.
