it's a 2001 primo viaggio. in the vert we had to crank the knob full out plus a noodle to get it in the green area while installed to my satisfaction.
the baby seat is located behind the drivers seat. i'm 6' 0.5" and i'm usually the driver. i have a long torso and short legs though. my wife who is 5'7" has long legs and finds my seat setting uncomfortable. the perego does butt against the seat back in my seat setting.
when our little one out grows the perego we are going to have to install the britax forward facing in our saab, per european standards. this is slightly illegal in the US, but we have no choice in the saab. we have justified this, as we have been rearended 3 times and we have never (yet) hit someone. in our other car, the britax barely fits in the middle position rear facing.
since you already bought an infant seat designed to euro (tougher) safety standards, this will be amusing to you. go to babies r us and peel away the cover on a couple toddler car seats. compare the euro mfgd ones to the domestics. the euros are constucted much, much better and padded well. not just hard plastic behind the covering.
have a good one,
