00-9-3. 49k...wee bit of warranty left on it. CEL turned out to be a failing DI according to my Saab dealer...replaced for free. The DI on my 94 SE lasted 105k, guess the T7 units don't go half as far. Car ran fine, just an intermittant CEL, glad this was caught in time. My T5 gave me no warning light when it began to fail, just started running like crap, but did not die and leave me stranded.

I think I will forgo hauling a spare in the trunk for at least another 20k. Warranty is also replacing the window pillar tape, seat belt buckle, SID, breather CCV black box and hoses (modified unit from Saab?). Mechanic actually went though the car looking for things that needed to be fixed, a couple I even missed.

My compliments to Hudson Saab in Columbia, SC. for good honest service and support (again). If more dealers treated their customers like this there would be a lot more Saabs on the road. The only other good dealer I have had over the years was Gibson Saab in Perryville, IN (now closed).
