I have a 99 base 9-3 with an auto tranny. I've had it about 2 years now and have become quite in tune with all of its quirks. I know when it shifts and what noises it makes, etc. Recently, it has started making a whining noise uner slow accelerationin all gears as far as I can tell. Also, I now have a squeak in the back end, a popping noise coming from the front drivers side and what seems like a slight loss in power. Recently, the temp outside has hovered around 50 - 60 and I've noticed before that this seems to be the best temp for my car performance wise. This car has kind of turned into a money pit and I don't want to spend more than 1000 bux fixing it again. I've already paid for half of the whole car again in repairs. Any clue about the whining engine or the squeakig or popping noises? Also, I live on a brick road, so I'm used to the usual squeak of rubber bushings and all, but this is excessive. Thanks for any insight,
