Check out the Euro 9-3 Aero spoiler as an alternative to the standard 9-3 SE spoiler. It sits up similar to a Viggen spoiler, but not quite as large. You can find it either at Turner Hill SAAB if you want to order from England or I found mine through Nick T. at genuinesaab.com. This is a authentic SAAB item so it is relatively easy to mount.

I was in a similar situation as you as an errant garage door had dinged the spoiler. I had a local body shop paint it to match and mount it. The mounting holes of the old spoiler had to be welded over and the rear of the hatch painted. I took the opportunity to totally debadge the hatch at the same time. It is a nice little touch and only a real SAAB afficianado will notice the difference. Total cost was about $850 between the cost of the spoiler, mounting and painting.
