If you had tons of interest and no complaints on price why are you worried? Keep in mind it will probably take a few months to unload a 99 Lightening Blue Viggen - maybe up to 6 months. They are not popular cars and there are lots of tire kickers out there. Parting out the snows and getting a refund on the warranty is a good idea -- thats the best way to achieve the most dollars for those items as a potential buyer, when rolled into a package, will pay less for them.
That said if you have a 99 Viggen with no warranty in mint condition and 45K miles you will probably sell it at around $16.5K so listing it at $17.5K or $18K would be wise.
I keep decent tabs on my car's value and I have the exact same car, and mileage in mint condition with the remaining CPO warranty - I would value mine at $17.5K to $18K and if I were to sell it (which I am not) I wouldn't go below those numbers.
The only counter logic to keeping the warranty would be to deflect fears of the car's mechanical condition. Many people are weary of Viggens and first believe they were mistreated rather than babied. I guess I could see that...
I sold my 2000 blue Viggen coupe via TSN back in late 2001 -- it took 3.5 months, but I got what I was shooting for in price.
Be patient if you can....
