Valet Hell and Dealer Overcharge?

A few months ago, my 2001 Viggen was parked by a valet who didn't know that, to shift into reverse, you have to pull up on the collar on the gear shift. He forced it, and broke the "reverse gear shift lock," a white plastic piece that slips in next to the gear shift to prevent it from being moved into reverse when the collar isn't lifted. The dealer charged me $27 for a replacement gear shift lock, and $230 for labor -- which the parking operator eventually reimbursed me for.
A few days ago, it happened again -- this time, the damage was done by an employee of an audio shop that was making my car iPod-friendly. These guys, to their credit, immediately took responsibility, ordered the new part from Saab, and I went back in and they installed the new reverse gear shift lock this morning. Funny thing is, it took them about 10 minutes, and it's not like they're in the business of fixing Saabs.
So is there ANY explanation (other than "they ripped you off") for the dealer charging me $230 for labor for a ten minute job? Am I missing something? Is there a ridiculous book rate for this particular operation?
Thanks!
