this happens to all cars but is much worse when using lower octane fuel. I found in troubleshooting problems one has to get as close to the prescribed norms for the car i.e, proper plugs, gasoline, etc. Once you have done that then you have a proper baseline from which folks can help you. I would try a couple of tanks of 91 and clean the TB. Surging is often caused by that.
