You had a red DI in a T7 car? That's not supposed to happen...do you know if that red one was the original or if it had been replaced once before? If it was replaced before, was the ECM replaced as well? Maybe a dealer converted your car to T5 and now the T7 ECU doesn't work? All sounds very strange.
Boost should go to top of the yellow, so if you're not getting out of the white, there's a problem...whether or not you were overboosting before. I still think that either (1) the dealer screwed up and disconnected the wastegate actuator from the wastegate (ie, permanently opened the wastegate) or (2) the dealer incorrectly connected something to the ECM. Or just put in a bad ECM. But you shouldn't have had a red DI in a 2002 car, either...that bothers me, too.
